Guesthouse Rules & Terms of Stay

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. To ensure a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please take note of the following important information.

Deposit

A 50% deposit or 1-night accommodation rate (whichever is greater) is required to confirm your reservation. Payments can be made via the Nightsbridge website using Paybridge and will be confirmed by email.

Cancellation Policy
• Non-arrival: No refund
• If we rebook your room: 10% handling fee applies
• Less than 1 week’s notice: No refund
• 1–2 weeks’ notice: 25% refund
• 2–4 weeks’ notice: 50% refund
• 4 weeks or more: 10% handling fee

Booking Requirements
Once the booking is confirmed, the accommodation requires a copy of the guest’s ID and a completed online information and indemnity form.

No Viewings Allowed
Please note that no prior viewing of the unit is allowed.

Stay at Own Risk
Guests stay at their own risk. The accommodation, its owners, and staff are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or deaths.

Loss or Theft
The accommodation is not responsible for any lost, forgotten, or stolen items.

Responsible Use of Property
Guests must use the premises responsibly and follow all safety rules. Any damages are the guest’s responsibility.

Guest Indemnity
Guests indemnify and hold the accommodation harmless from any claims, damages, or costs.

Acceptance of Terms
By staying, guests fully accept these terms.

Curfew
All guests must return by 23:30. After this, the doors are locked. Please speak to management for exceptions.

Behaviour Expectations
A friendly, professional environment is maintained. Rude or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated.

Accessibility Notice
The unit is only accessible via stairs and may not suit elderly or disabled guests.

Linen Provided
Bedding, towels, and swimming towels are provided.

No Visitors, Minors, or Pets
No visitors, persons under 18, or pets are allowed.

Cleanliness
Guests must maintain cleanliness and leave the unit as they found it.

Breakages
Breakages will be charged at replacement cost, as outlined in the indemnity form.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed inside. The outdoor veranda may be used.

Shower Only
The unit has a shower only. The bath is not in use due to water conservation.

Alcohol & Behaviour Policy
Guests may bring their own drinks and enjoy in moderation. No violence, drugs, or excessive drinking. Music off by 20:30.

Swimming Pool Access
The pool is available during the day at guests’ own risk.

No Braai Facilities
There are no braai facilities. Restaurants and takeaways are 1.5 km away.

Dirty Dishes
No dishwashing facilities in-unit. Place dirty dishes in the basket by the glass door. They’ll be washed and returned.

Ironing
Request an iron and ironing board in advance – it will be placed outside the glass door.

Unit Cleaning for Longer Stays
For stays longer than 2 days, cleaning takes place on Mon, Wed, and Fri when guests are out. Please secure valuables.

Extra Bedroom Option
A second bedroom with a double bed is available at an extra cost. Contact management for a quote.
